Physiographic Regions of North America Test

Part 1: Multiple Choice – 20 questions (20 marks). Focuses on your understanding of Regional characteristics.

Part 2: Mapping (8 marks). Location & names of regions on a North American map.

Part 3: Paragraph Response (5 marks). Identify and discuss some geographic obstacles (i.e. topography, climate, vegetation) that would make settlement in North America difficult. Provide regional examples to support your detailed explanation.
