Activity: Students spent their final day in the computer lab preparing their Explorers powerpoints. Presentations will take place on Tuesday and Thursday next week.

Writing for a Purpose
Activity: Students were introduced to the topic “Year Round Schooling” by reading several articles. The main points of view were highlighted and students engaged in a class discussion.
Homework: Read the 6 news articles on year round schooling in this blog and form an informed stance on the topic. Persuasive writing activity will begin on Tuesday.
