Activity: Students continued working on their individual-choice novels, completing their story elements booklets, and making entries in their literature response journals.

Activity: Students composed first drafts of historical fiction stories using story starters on an Ancient Egyptian topic. One more class will be allotted to edit/revise and write their final drafts.
