  1. Discuss the KEY INGREDIENTS for industrialization. Why did this occur first in Britain? (5 marks)
  2. Describe the agricultural changes that occurred in England during the Industrial Revolution and say HOW these changes: a) changed the nature of food production, b) forced the migration of people, and c) supported industrialization. (5 marks)
  3. Describe Laissez-Faire Economics. How was this new economic system different from a centrally controlled economy AND how did it support new business ventures and industries? (5 marks)
  1. Compare and contrast two systems of manufacturing during the Industrial Revolution: traditional Cottage Industry vs. Factory Assembly Line. What were the advantages and disadvantages of each? What does the law of supply and demand say about: a) wages & workers? and b) price & quantity of goods produced? (5 marks)
  2. Identify some of the KEY inventions that contributed to industrialization. Discuss how these helped to revolutionize a) industry, b) agriculture and c) transportation. (5 marks)
