Activity: Read “Freak the Mighty” chapters 7-9; respond to the story in literature response journals.

Assignment: Freak the Mighty ch 7-9 questions.

Chapter 2: Puzzling Pieces

Activity: View video, Otzi the Iceman. Collect evidence supporting the 4 theories of the Iceman’s occupation: herdsman, hunter, trader, warrior.  Record evidence in Otzi the Iceman organizer.

Assignment: Write a detailed paragraph on what you think the Iceman’s occupation is, based on the strongest evidence.
