Novel Study
Students began a new novel study today, “Freak the Mighty”. They completed and submitted entries in their Literature Response Journals.
Assignment: Chapters 1-3 Comprehension Questions and Vocabulary (due Thursday).
Social Studies 7
Ancient India
Students were introduced to a new unit on Ancient India
Activity: Viewed video, “Indus” and took down 10 facts and asked 3 intelligent questions from the documentary.
Math 7
Integers
Text Activity: pp. 250-251 #1-10
Assignment: 6.3 – Adding Integers that are far from Zero (worksheet)
Social Studies
The Age of Exploration
Activity: Students viewed movie, “Master & Commander” by way of introducing the Chapter 8 topic, Navigators & Sea Dogs.
