Book Report

Students began a new project today: Book Reports on individual choice novels.  Students must complete a small booklet on story elements, as well as making 10 entries in their literature response journals.

The Earth’s Crust

8.5 Investigation is now due.

Tomorrow we will be working together on the Chapter 8 Review (p. 234-235 text) in preparation for the Chapter 8 Quiz on Monday, January 30.

Finish-Up Work

As Term 2 draws to a close, a number of students have late assignments that still need to be completed.  Therefore, today was a catch-up day for Grade 7 Core subjects: Social Studies, Science, Math & English.

In addition, all late work has been referred to Academic Intervention.  Please follow-up with your child and enquire about missing work they may have.  You may refer to the recent interim report I emailed to you, which specifies your child’s current academic standing and any missing assignments.
